Kathmandu's Eyes
In the center of Kathmandu sits the Monkey Temple, a high, colorful, and magnificent Buddhist temple overlooking the entire city. I visited it several times during my trip to Nepal. I chose to paint the central structure of the temple—the stupa, which is considered to be the beating heart of the complex. Beyond the breathtaking beauty of the structure itself, this painting reminds me of my entire journey through Nepal, so colorful and unique.
